Custom Build Homes and landowner Osprey Developments are bringing on a 32-plot site in March, Cambridgeshire. Osprey Place launches with an initial registration day for gauging interest and reserves, before closing until plot preparation and infrastructure works are undertaken, prior to a formal launch.
Kipling Garages
Community led organisation, Leathermarket CBS, has submitted plans to Southwark Council for 27 high quality, genuinely affordable homes in Kipling Garages, Bermondsey.
igloo Regeneration has been appointed as Development Manager for the project. Once approved, the new homes should be ready by Spring 2018.
Manor Farm
The first tenants have moved into the affordable housing scheme, Manor Farm, a development delivered and owned by Stretham and Wilburton CLT.
The 75 home Manor Farm development includes 23 genuinely affordable homes for local people, as well as a doctors’ surgery, woodland walkway, flexible work units and and extensive green space including a new village green.
Swaffham Prior Affordable Homes
Swaffham Prior CLT, with the help of three local landowners, has delivered 8 affordable homes for this village in East Cambridgeshire. All the homes are now let, as part of a larger housing scheme of 20 properties, and are managed by housing association, Hundred Houses Society.
The project was funded by a grant from East Cambridgeshire District Council.
The Leys, Bishop Castle
Custom Build Developer Czero has obtained detailed planning consent for a range of house designs at The Leys, Bishops Castle. These nine serviced plots will range in size from 0.15 acres to 0.26 acres and prices will start from £120,000.
Kennett Garden Village
Kennett CLT are in the process of creating a vision for a new Garden Village in Kennett, East Cambridgeshire. The CLT has 130 members and is currently electing a Board of Trustees to help get the project off the ground.
Sussex Street Cohousing
Currently meeting with housing associations and potential developers to bring on the scheme. In addition, the group is working with Instinctively Green consultancy, which has a track record of working with cohousing groups.
Status at Nov 2015
Sussex Street Cohousing is working toward creating 17 custom-build flats with shared communal facilities on a development just north of Norwich city centre. As well as a major focus on a community ethos, sustainability is top of the agenda in order to give reduced running costs, even if this requires a slightly more expensive build.
Loftus Village Association
Loftus Village Association created 19 new homes for a co-operative housing scheme, with homes offering affordability through intermediate rent. The scheme was developed wiht Charter Housing, now part of the Pobl group, on the former Pirelli factory site at East Newport, Wales
With 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bed homes, tenants can progress to ownership, and the site is democratically managed by the residents.
Repton Road, Willington
Fairgrove Homes is proposing five large custom build homes as part of a larger 42 home site at Repton Road, Willington.
The development is currently looking for registrations of interest for the homes, which are between £850,000 to £1,000,000 for a large 5 bedroom detached home with double garage.
Boughton Park
All plots are now sold on Boughton Park with building work taking place. The first three homes are due for completion early next year.

Boughton Park is a 14-plot site in Grafty Green, near Headcorn, Maidstone being brought on by Quinn Estates. Like its Hammill Park project, the development is enabled self build, offering serviced plots, with prices starting from £295,000.
