Custom Build goes digital

Digitising Custom Build is a collaborative R&D project, funded by Innovate UK, combining the skills of NaCSBA, Stickyworld, Slider Studio, HTA Design LLP, Axis Design Architects, Facit Homes and Commusoft. Together the team will aim to develop digital tools and methods to help those wanting to buy, design, build and live in a custom build home.
The new site will be regularly updated with news and blogs, technology developments and events from the partners offering an exclusive insight into the project and the technology it is producing. In addition, there will be video interviews from project partners as well as footage of recent events.
The website is set for a bright and busy year ahead – within the first week of its launch, the DCB team were approached by a variety of people, including local councils, expressing their interest in the project and in testing the technology on their own custom and self build projects.
