Continuing its series of regional Right to Build Expos, the Right to Build Task Force, in partnership with Wood for Good and NaCSBA, has three expos running in Autumn.
Enormously well-received, the Expos share the local picture of the Right to Build Legislation locally, and what councils are doing to fulfil their duties under the legislation.
Each Expo has strong links with an exemplary council, which shares its own activities with regards to growing Custom, Self-build and community-led housing in its area. In addition, they also share examples from regional companies and projects creating owner-commissioned housing.
Right to Build Expo, Eastern Region, Thurs 4 Oct 2018 (Cambridge)
Right to Build Expo, Cheshire, Thurs 1 Nov 2018 (Warrington)
Right to Build Expo, Yorkshire: 29 Nov 2018 (Leeds)
The Expos are ideal for:
Local authorities working to permission more plots;
landowners looking to capitalise on the increased land values possible with Custom Build;
financiers servicing the market;
planning and housing professionals;
developers and SME builders looking for growth opportunities;
community-led housing groups, such as cohousing and CLTs, looking for advice for next steps;
as well as a host of other stakeholders.
