Now a firm fixture in the industry, the Build It Awards 2018 are open for entries.
Brought to you by self-build specialist magazine, Build It and in association with BuildStore, the awards provide industry recognition and a welcome evening of networking for companies operating in the Custom, Self-build and renovation sector.
The awards include 25 categories, meaning there’s one for the entire industry whatever your field of expertise, from best Self Build home to Best Self Build Lender.
This year there’s a new category for Best Accessible/Inclusive Home, recognising the potential the sector has for supplying the growing market for homes that reflect people’s needs, especially the growing downsizing market.
It also has an award for Best Council for Self or Custom Builders, a free category to enter. Share the details with a supportive local authority you’ve worked with, as a way to give something back to a council that’s working to grow the sector locally, as local planning and housing teams can be pivotal in making Custom and Self-build happen.
The awards take place on the 9 November, with a gala dinner in London hosted by comedian and actor Miles Jupp, and you’ve got until 7 September to enter for your chosen category, with the exception of Best Self-Build or Renovation Project, which is a nominated award.
