Custom builders looking for land may want to consider Calderdale Council’s lates land releases, with marketing ending on 6 April. The council hopes that the sites would suit groups of self builders looking for land, willing to work together, or a custom build developer or enabler able to take the sites on.
Currently there are three sites coming onto the market, with a fourth expected to follow shortly.
The site are:
Guide price £125,000: Brewery Street, Todmorden – a 0.19 hectare site with outline planning permission for 4 dwellings, on the site of a car park. Application Ref: 18/01471/OUT
Guide price £225,000: Bank Street, Brighouse – 0.13 hectare site with outline planning permission for 5 dwellings, on gently sloping vacant land. Application Ref: 18/01540/OUT
Guide price £100,000: Belmont Street, Sowerby Bridge – 0.06 hectare site with outline planning permission for 3 dwellings, on a former garage site. Application Ref: 18/00228/LAA
The council has initial layouts for housing, and the parcels of land are being marketed by Walker Singleton.
