There’s a host of small infill and backland sites that need the right skills that will enable architects to put on the developers hat and bring them to market. Developer Collective is a group set up to do just that through a series of training events and conferences, skilling up a range of building professionals to become design-led developers – the perfect source of skills for architects to bring on sites, including small custom-build or serviced-plots sites.
The group is running a series of training masterclasses in 2020 based around London, typically around two hours long:
12 Feb: Raising Finance Without a track record, securing finance for your first development can be tough, so knowing about the different routes to funding is key.
26 Feb: Developer Pitch Helping architects and entrepreneurs link up with investment opportunities.
3 March: Doing the Deal Ensure your negotiations are effective, so that you can secure your deal, while understanding the risks involved.
