Following a difficult year for self build shows due to Coronavirus, Homebuilding & Renovating has responded with the launch of a new online summer show for consumers, taking place on the 24-25 July.
The Homebuilding & Renovating Virtual Summer Show has been created to reflect the feel of a real show, with visitors entering the virtual auditorium, where they can choose an area of interest and enter a dedicated exhibition space.
Free to attend, the online version includes all the favourite features of a traditional show, enabling visitors to engage with the range of exhibitors in each area through videos, online chat and call backs. The feel of a regular show has been recreated digitally, including an exhibition hall, seminar theatre, masterclass theatre and expert panels sharing their expert knowledge.
The new digital version will be a welcome addition to the show calendar for 2020, enabling those people with a project to plan and obtain expert advice, and providing a useful route to market for exhibitors. While a virtual show offers a different experience to a live show, one of the advantages is that anyone, anywhere in the country, can join in and benefit from the range of experts and exhibitors on offer.
The live show runs for two days, and the platform will stay live with videos and other content for four weeks afterwards, too.

The show is not the only virtual presence on offer, as Future, the parent of Homebuilding & Renovating, is also running a new virtual Working From Home Show on the 30-31 July, capitalising on the changes that Covid has brought to the way people work.
