Leaper Land Horam site cgi

Leaper Land Promotion is looking for a custom build enabler or developer to bring on a 20 home site with outline planning permission. With the Section 106 now agreed, NaCSBA member Leaper is inviting bids by 20 December, with Lamber & Foster* able to supply more details and data relating to the proposal.

The resolution was recently granted by Wealden District Council, with the Section 106 ringfencing the site for custom and self build, as well as setting out the need to provide 35% affordable housing, offsite highway works and a contribution to traffic regulation order and bus service (Planning ref: WD/2020/2667/MAO).

Leaper Land’s 2.5 acres site is off Chiddingly Road in Horam, East Sussex, with outline permission for the phased development of up to 20 plots, which was reduced from 22 as part of the application process.

For the outline application, award-winning architect Pollard Thomas Edwards and planning consultancy Rural Solutions worked in conjunction with the land owner, with the final scheme needing to be submitted for full permission.

As per the OPP scheme, the homes will offer a range of choices, including a palette of designs and materials that buyers can customise to their choice.
