Following from NaCSBA’s AGM, the Executive Committee is pleased to announce its new board members.
Nathan Garnet of Media 10 brings a wealth of experience with him of events marketing to the role of Marketing Representative. Nathan has worked in the magazine and events industry for over 18 years; he ran Grand Designs Live until recently and was in charge of launching National Custom and Self Build Week, as well as being an integral part of NaCSBA’s Self Build on a Shoestring Competition over the past five years. Nathan now runs UK Construction week, which sees self and custom build placed alongside every other aspect of the built environment.
Mary Riley is NaCSBA’s new Self Build Executive. Mary plays a prominent role in the development of “Self-Build” mortgage funding concepts that help to enable self build, custom build and community self build, amongst other developments. Mary sits on various working parties that look at ways to support and bring new players into the market; she is a committee member of the Structural Timber Association and has experience of consultations at local and national Government level relating to housing. She writes many articles for the self build press, and has been a key expert at Grand Designs Live since its inception.
NaCSBA’s new Custom Build Representative is Gus Zogolovitch of Inhabit Homes. Gus is no stranger to NaCSBA – he was elected to serve on the executive committee in 2013 and shortly after set up Inhabit Homes, London’s first custom-build developer. Since this time he has continued to contribute to NaCSBA’s custom-build group and has spoken at numerous events for the Association as well as working with the DCLG, HCA, and attending numerous Government events to help build the sector.
NaCSBA welcomes all its new committee members and looks forward to a proactive and successful year ahead.
