NaCSBA is keen for its sub-team of technical experts to broaden its reach across the UK.
Scotland and Northern Ireland, for example, represents around 25% of the UK’s custom/self build activity and I am currently undertaking steps to understand what is happening in these areas.
My aim is to make contact with representatives from the Scottish Parliament and the Northern Irish government with a view to finding out what their initial thoughts are on the sector; how NaCSBA can assist them and get involved in any custom/self build targets that they are working towards. We seem to be a little in the dark as to what is happening in these areas so this is really a fact-finding mission.
