The National Custom and Self Build Association is inviting all its members to attend the 2019 AGM, taking place on Tuesday 25 June from 14.30-17.00 at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon.
It’s been an incredible 12 months for the sector, with National Custom and Self Build Week putting the spotlight on owner-commissioned homes, with the support of Grand Designs Live.
2019 is a watershed year for the Right to Build legislation as 30 October marks the end of the first three-year base period for the registers. Will enough local authorities be meeting their duties – and what happens if not? Come along to get the latest updates, plus NaCBSA action plan for next steps.
NaCSBA has been engaging at the very highest levels of Government, and Grand Designs: The Street brought multi-plot sites at Graven Hill into the nation’s living room, making Self and Custom Build more accessible than ever before.
“NaCSBA continues to provide leadership, expertise and experience to overcome sectoral barriers and challenges.”
Kit Malthouse, Housing Minister
NaCSBA Gold Member Graven Hill will be presenting at the AGM, sharing some of the learnings and experiences from such high-level publicity, helping you improve your own practice.
Plus, discover what the Right to Build Task Force has been doing that’s leading to so many more Custom and Self Build homes being planned. The Task Force is the single main organisation that can help transform ambition into Custom and Self Build homes, at scale and as affordable as possible.
“I congratulate Richard Bacon MP and the Right to Build Task Force for sterling work in banging the drum for Custom and Self Build, helping authorities and community groups to bring forward large affordable custom and self-build projects and demonstrating that that is possible.”
Kit Malthouse, Housing Minister
